CC Conn is a sound and lighting designer who is professor of lighting and sound at the School of Theatre at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. A graduate of Ball State University (BA) and Indiana University(MFA), where she won the Gary W. Geiser Memorial Award, Conn worked for many years in Atlanta, Georgia, where her lighting design credits included The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me (Best Lighting Design, Creative Loafing Magazine), several events for the 1996 Summer Olympic games, as well as numerous dance recitals and concerts. Her theatrical credits at SFA include sound and lighting designs for dozens of productions. Recently, her sound designs have been heard at Middle Tennessee State University and Indiana University as well. A member of USITT and TETA (Texas Educational Theatre Association), Conn is a dedicated teacher who has led workshops and presentations at national and regional conferences. She also created the Junior Jacks Theatre Camp, which hosts several dozen local elementary and junior high school students every summer.
